What Drives My Practice
The most important piece of my learning that I carry forward, and hope to pass along to others, is that from the fundamental biochemical make up, we are all individual.
While much of each of us is extremely similar, there are slight differences in the codes that direct all the bodily functions within us, and we need to listen to our own signals and understand better our own make-up to be able to give ourselves the gift of the best nutrition and lifestyle to benefit our individual bodies.
What is the perfect food for one body, may indeed be the opposite for another. We need to gain a better understanding of ourselves so we are not following the headlines of the health trends that are of benefit to some people in the hopes that we will benefit us as well.
Finding answers to our individual body needs and being able to make informed choices about what we eat, drink, and how we live, enables us to move forward out of the worries of nutrition, and onto the other challenges of our lives we hope to pursue.
